Meet Our GM - Lynn Dahl
Q: What makes Gatlinburg, TN a unique vacation destination?
A: The beautiful Great Smoky Mountains! This national park truly offers something for everyone including hiking, fishing, bicycling, touring and much more. If you travel to Clingmans Dome, the highest point in the park, the view of the mountains are absolutely breathtaking.
Q: What is your favorite area restaurant?
A: My favorite spot for lunch is The Wild Plum Tea Room. For dinner, you can’t go wrong with the locally-owned and operated Crystelle Creek. Both are less than a 20 minute drive from Eight Gables Inn.
Q: If you could only choose one local attraction that is a must-see, what would it be?
A: Hiking (or walking) anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Q: What is your background in the hospitality industry?
A: I was in the food industry until I made the switch six years ago to the hotel side.
Q: How long have you been the GM at Eight Gables Inn?
A: I moved out from Palm Springs, California to help guide Eight Gables in September 2014.
Q: What is your favorite room at Eight Gables Inn and why?
A: Morning Glory. I love the color of the room and the room itself just feels peaceful to me.
Q: What makes Eight Gables Inn different from surrounding hotels?
A: We are truly hospitality and service-based. You can sleep anywhere, but only at Eight Gables do you feel like you have come home.
