Main House Rooms
and Suites
Eight Gables offers nineteen charming guest rooms,
comfortable common areas, bountiful cuisine and wrap-around porch
complete with swings and rockers. Tucked at the foot of the mountains,
the grounds are perfectly manicured with flagstone walkways, fountains,
gardens and a gazebo. All have private baths, cable TV, telephones,
feather top beds, plush bathrobes, and personal amenities. Several
feature the warmth of fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. Nightly turndown
service is available each evening.
Main Inn:
The original house offers eleven (7) estate rooms and (4) suites featuring
a queen or king feather bed. The Main Inn offers a stocked pantry,
overstuffed sofas and chairs, a baby grand piano, a cozy fireplace,
selection of library books, a wonderful wraparound porch complete
with swings, hammocks and rockers, and beautiful grounds featuring
flagstone walkways, fountains, gardens and a gazebo.
Garden Suites:
Located in the gardens behind the Main House, there are four (4) garden
suites with king -sized feather beds. Garden suites are the most spacious
rooms on property and all offer a cozy fireplace, whirlpool tub and
a private patio.
The Cottage:
This spacious four (4)-bedroom cottage (two with private
patios and one with a fireplace) can accommodate up to eight guests
and offers 4 baths (including three with whirlpool tubs), a full kitchen
with stocked pantry, dining room, a living room with fireplace, and
a porch with rockers. The dining room is an ideal location for casual
meeting for up to ten people.
